What is a Saturn Outlook Extended Warranty?

A Saturn Outlook service contract is a promise to perform (or pay for) certain repairs of services. Most consumers call this a " Outlook Extended Warranty", however a Saturn Outlook service contract is not a extended warranty as defined by federal law. The separate and additional cost distinguishes a service contract from a warranty. A General Motors Protection Plan (GMPP) may be arranged at any time and always costs extra; a Saturn Outlook factory warranty comes with a new Saturn Outlook and is included in the original price of the vehicle.
